Phan Thi Huong Giang:
Phan Thi Huong Giang, second runner-up of Miss Jewelry 2009 pageant, will be the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Global Beauty Queen 2011 pageant, in Seoul, South Korea.The beauty pageant will gather over 60 contestants from many countries. With the theme “Beauty with Heart”, the pageant will raise fund for orphans, the elderly who suffer from illness and victims of natural disasters in the world.
Before the final night, contestants will compete in traditional costume, evening gown, swimwear, talent competitions and a charity auction.
The audience can vote for their favorite contestants on website
http://vote.missglobalbeauty.org/vote/vote.php. The top-voted contestant will enter the semi-final round (top 15). After the final night on May 10, contestants will pay a visit to Jeju Island and return home on May 12.
On the pageant’s website, Vietnamese representative had 150 votes by April 27. Miss Lithuania took the lead with 2410. Huong Giang, 21, is currently a PR officer for a big group in Vietnam.
She said she will bring several Vietnamese ao dai, designed by Lan Huong, and evening gowns designed by Hoang Hai to South Korea. Earlier, Vietnam’s Diep Hong participated in this pageant in 2005.
