Miss Vietnam 2008 Thuy Dung
On the theme of ‘Vietnamese Women – A Thousand Years of Beauty’, the contest aims to hounour the traditional values of Vietnamese women, who are friendly, well-educated and act for the community. It also celebrates the millennium anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.
The contest has attracted participants from across the country, including many beauties from ethnic minorities and mountainous and remote regions.

Qualifying rounds will be held from July 22-24 at No. 37 Tran Binh Trong street in Hanoi for contestants from the North and North Central regions and from July 19-21 at No. 118 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street in Ho Chi Minh city for those from the South.
The crowning ceremony will be broadcast live on six channels of the VTC.
Miss Vietnam 2010 will win a crown and VND 500 million. The award for the first an second runners-up will be VND 200 million and VND 100 million respectively. Other sub-awards will include Miss Talent, Miss Congeniality, Miss Beach and Miss Beautiful Face.
